Severe Thunderstorms, Heavy Rainfall and Dangerous Heat

Severe thunderstorms are expected today and Friday from the upper Midwest, central Great Lakes into the Ohio and mid-Mississippi Valley's. In addition, heavy rainfall threat increases on Friday across the Ohio Valley. Brown and Marathon County – Spotter Training – April 16, 2020 (Webinar)

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak across the country, we have had to make sudden/drastic adjustments to our spotter training presentations this season.  Due to safety concerns for anyone planning to attend the classes in  person and for the employees at the National Weather Service, we decided to present the spotter information via webinar.  Thank you for your patience and understanding and we appreciate your interest in participating in the spotter program!

In order to view the meeting you will need to install the GoTo Webinar/Opener in your browser, PC or Mobile device.  When you register there will be instructions on how to join the webinar/install the software.

Once you open the link, you will be asked for your name and an email address.

On the “You’re Registered!” screen, click on the join the webinar link.  That will allow you to install the software on your computer or will direct you to download the app on a smart phone.

You can do this well ahead of the meeting, to ensure that you have the appropriate software on your computer or mobile phone.  Otherwise, if you decide to do it the day of the meeting, just be sure to try to join the meeting about 15 minutes ahead of time.
