Light snow will end across far northeast Wisconsin this afternoon as a weather system moves away from that part of the state. Another system, moving across northern Illinois, could produce some light snow over the Fox Valley and lake shore into the evening.

Another round of bitter cold is expected Thursday night into Friday morning. Wind chill readings north and west of the Fox Valley should fall into the 20 below to 30 below range. A wind chill advisory is anticipated for this period. Wind chill readings from the Fox Valley and lakeshore region are expected to drop into the teens below zero. Don't despair, a moderation in temperatures is expected this weekend with above normal temperatures early next week. Along with the warmer temperatures, there is a potential for a wintry mix Monday into Tuesday. Stay tuned!
