Severe Thunderstorms and Heavy Rainfall in the Southern Plains; Heat Continues in the West

Strong to severe thunderstorms may bring areas of excessive rainfall and flooding over parts of the southern Plains today through Friday. Hot to dangerously hot temperatures are forecast across portions of the Pacific Northwest and southern Great Basin today. Accumulating Snow Ending This Morning

What: Snow will end from west to east this morning. Additional accumulations will be up to 2 inches, with storm total accumulations of 3 to 6 inches for most locations.

 

Impacts: Snow covered and slippery roads, bridges, and sidewalks. Very little blowing and drifting snow is expected.

Actions: Remember to slow down, keep extra distance between vehicles, and allow extra time to reach your destination.
