Summer Heat Continues; Severe Weather For Northeast

A large ridge of high pressure continues to bring summer heat and humidity to several sections of the country. Excessive heat warnings and heat advisories are in effect across the Desert Southwest, southern Plains, Lower Mississippi Valley and a small part of the Mid-Atlantic. Severe Weather Spotter Training Schedule

Storm spotter training for 2019 is underway. 

Official spotter training is offered via:
 (1) In-person instruction -- 12-15 classes around northeast Wisconsin each spring. 
 (2) Self-paced online courses
