An active monsoon pattern starting Thursday and lasting through most of the weekend. Above normal monsoon moisture will provide high chances for rain showers and strong thunderstorms. There will be a Slight Risk for Excessive Rainfall Thursday and Friday. Risk for flash flooding will be elevated these days and possibly into the weekend.
With the potential for heavy rain Thursday into Saturday a Flash Flood Watch has been issued east of Tucson expanding to include the Tucson Metro Friday morning. Turn around don't drown!
