A look at our daily high temperature and daily precipitation probabilities for the next 7 days. We will be trending hotter through the remainder of the week, and staying dry through the weekend. Moisture begins to move in from the east, giving our eastern and central areas fair chances for rain showers and thunderstorms Monday through Wednesday.
With an increase in moisture from the east early next week, rain/thunderstorm chances return to the forecast mainly for eastern areas beginning on Monday. The Climate Prediction Center is highlighting our area with a 40-60% chance of above normal precip during this period. For context, the average total rainfall for May 26-30 in El Paso is about a tenth of an inch.
