Winter Storm in the Central Appalachians through the Northeast; Heavy Snow in the Great Basin and Rockies

A winter storm will impact the central Appalachians to the Northeast through the night. Accumulating snow is expected for interior New England and the northern Mid-Atlantic. Scattered showers and occasional thunderstorms will persist across Florida and the Southeast coast. There are 2 ways to get information from this map:

Clicking on the map.

After that, 3 or 4 tabs will open up below the map:

If there are Red Flag Warnings or Fire Weather Watches on the clicked area, the text for those will show up in the first tab. Otherwise this tab will not show up.
A tab with the Fire Weather Forecast Discussion and the forecast for the Fire Weather Zone clicked upon will be in the second tab.
A color coded Fire Weather Matrix will show up in the next tab. Some offices have created custom thresholds for the matrix. Otherwise, "default" parameters will be used. Note: This information covers the area on the map within the "green square".
The final tab has a 3 hourly point forecast matrix for the next 6 days. Note: This information covers the area on the map within the "green square".
