Scattered severe thunderstorms and excessive rainfall are possible into the night in the Mid Atlantic, and heavy rain will shift to Virginia and the Carolinas on Friday. Severe thunderstorms are also possible in the Central Plains into the Upper MS Valley and the Deep South tonight. The Integrated Services Division (ISD) provides support to the Western Region field offices by:

providing operational IDSS guidance
managing the WR Regional Operations Center (WR ROC)
managing regional programs on weather, water, and climate
providing guidance on the implementation and interpretation of national policies and procedures
developing regional policies and guidance

The Integrated Services Division consists of both the Operations Branch and the Services Branch.
