Temperatures will be hot, but rain chances will be low early on in the weekend. However, this will be short lived as rain chances creep back up on Sunday.
Heat index or "feels like" temperatures this weekend will warm above 100°F across most of the region with some locations nearing 105°F Friday through Sunday afternoon.
The chances of locally heavy rainfall are gradually increasing early next week as a frontal boundary sets up over the region. On average, 4-6" of rainfall is possible along and north of the I10/12 corridor with locations along the southeast LA Coast seeing a bit less.
