Snow Continues in the Great Lakes; Above Normal Temperatures in the West

Lake effect snow will continue into the weekend as two more quick moving systems will bring widespread snow to the Upper Great Lakes. High winds are expected across portions of Montana through the weekend. .SYNOPSIS...A weak 30.0 inch trough moves through Lake Superior
today. Brief 30.1 inch ridging builds in afterwards by evening. A
29.5 inch low will track southeast through Lake Superior Saturday
evening. Another low of 29.5 inches then will build into the
Northern Plains Sunday night into Monday before transiting the
Upper Great Lakes Monday evening at 29.6 inches. High pressure
ridging builds to 30.1 inches Tuesday.
