Snow Expected from the Ohio Valley into the Mid-Atlantic; Rain and Thunderstorms in the Southeast

A frontal system is expected to bring wintry precipitation to the Central Appalachians and portions of the Mid-Atlantic into Wednesday, meanwhile, showers and thunderstorms are expected along the Gulf Coast and Southeast. Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 30.3 inch high over the Midwest and Upper Great Lakes will build
to 30.4 inches overnight and remain over the area through Wednesday.
Meanwhile, a 29.6 inch low will move into northern Saskatchewan,
reaching northern Manitoba Wednesday night. This will bring a 29.9
inch through over Lake Superior by Thursday afternoon as the low
moves into northern Ontario. The trough will deepen to 29.6 inches
over the lake on Thursday night as low pressure over James Bay
deepens. The trough pushes east Friday night with a 30.4 inch high
moving over the lake on Saturday. The high will shift east on Sunday
with 30.2 inch ridging over the lake.
