Thunderstorms in the North Central U.S.; Dangerous Heat in Texas

There is a severe weather and isolated flooding threat from the Central to Northern Plains tonight into early Thursday. The severe weather threat will progress eastward to the Upper Mississippi Valley/Great Lakes into the Lower Ohio Valley Thursday. NWS MARQUETTE IS IMPLEMENTING AN UPGRADED TEXT TO SPEECH PROCESSING
SYSTEM, THE BASIC MESSAGE HANDLER,...OR BMH...TODAY. OUR ELTECHS WILL
DISCONNECT THE CURRENT PROCESSING SYSTEM AND CONNECT BMH ONE
TRANSMITTER AT A TIME. AS WE MAKE SURE THE SIGNAL IS BEING
TRANSMITTED CORRECTLY...WE WILL THEN MOVE ON TO THE NEXT TRANSMITTER.

WHILE THOSE WHO LISTEN TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO WILL NOTICE LITTLE...IF
ANY...CHANGE BMH ALLOWS US TO ELIMINATE AN ANTIQUATED SYSTEM.
