Several Upper Michigan NOAA Weather Radio transmitters are scheduled to be replaced this week. Broadcasts from these stations will be unavailable for the morning and afternoon on the scheduled day. If severe weather is expected, work will be postponed. Information on additional surrounding stations can be found here.
- 9/13: KIG-66 serving north-central Upper MI
- 9/14 or 9/15: WXK-73, serving Houghton and vicinity
- 9/15 or 9/16: WZ-2513, serving the Copper Country
