Life-threatening Storm Surge, Damaging Winds, and Flash Flooding Impacting the Carolinas

The center of Ian will has made landfall in South Carolina, and will move farther inland across eastern South Carolina and central North Carolina tonight and Saturday. There is a danger of life-threatening storm surge along the Georgia and Carolina coasts. Hurricane-force winds are expected along the coasts of South Carolina and southeastern North Carolina.
