Fire Weather Planning Forecast for SW VA...SE WV and NW NC

.DISCUSSION...

Passage of a warm front this afternoon will trigger widespread
showers and widely scattered thunderstorms, with more organized
coverage forecast to occur across the Piedmont. Much of the lower
Mid-Atlantic will receive wetting rainfall, though amounts will
remain below 0.25" for most. Otherwise, widespread cloud cover
will help hold afternoon relative humidity above 60 percent area-
wide. Drier weather will arrive on Sunday, and is forecast to
persist through at least Wednesday.
