Very Heavy Lake Effect Snow and Powerful Winds in the Northeast

A powerful weather system combined with a lack of ice on the Great Lakes will produce significant amounts of snow, up to 3 to 4 feet in places, and blizzard conditions. Travel may be difficult to impossible.
