[Jun 30]- Today, lower moisture and the presence of Saharan dust are supporting a more stable weather pattern. Breezy east-southeast winds will shift to east-northeast by this evening. Hazy skies are expected due to Saharan dust, with concentrations decreasing by early Tuesday. A limited to locally moderate heat risk will be present in urban and coastal zones. A moderate rip current risk also continues along most exposed beaches.
The moderate risk of rip currents continues along northern/eastern/southeastern beaches of PR and the USVI. Beachgoers must exercise caution due to possible life-threatening rip currents along these areas. It's recommended to always swim near a lifeguard and remember to heed the advice of flag warning systems.
