While high tides will trend lower and lower with each cycle through the rest of the weekend, moderate coastal flooding will still be possible for some locations along the east coast. A Coastal Flood Advisory remains in effect.
The chances for a wet and unsettled weekend continue to increase. Repeated rounds of heavy rainfall over urban areas could support a greater and more impactful localized flood threat. While 1-3 inches could fall across the region between now and Monday, there is a 1 in 10 chance (reasonable worst case) of rainfall amounts of 4-6” along the east coast of South Florida through next Monday.
