Well above normal temperatures are forecast to shift from the northern Plains through the Northeast U.S. over the long holiday weekend. A few strong to severe thunderstorm will be possible as well along with a potential for excessive rainfall. A tornado was observed at 5:17 PM, approximately 3 miles south of Crowder in Pittsburg County. This tornado briefly touched down on Lake Eufaula. There was no significant path and no damage. This tornado was rated an EF0. |
