Last Map Update: Sun, Sep 7, 2025 at 4:00:10 pm MDT

There are no watches, warnings, or advisories at this time.

Temperatures rebound to near and above normal this week with drier and sunnier conditions.
Little to no rain chances are forecast through the week as drier air enters the region. There is some signal in the models of a moisture uptick late in the week, but confidence is low.
Drier air moves into the region on Sunday so our thunderstorm chances will be limited to area mountains. Our high temperatures will be warmer, but still a couple of degrees below average. Our winds will be light and variable.
High pressure building to our west, and then moving across the region will result in warmer and drier conditions for early week. Moisture sets up to our west midweek, allowing for a return of rain/storm chances over SW New Mexico. Late week, that moisture looks to sweep east to give South Central New Mexico, and Far West Texas some rain and storm chances.
