Sunny skies and pleasant temperatures are expected area-wide today with modest west-northwest winds.

Lows tonight will be near seasonal averages under partly cloudy skies.

Slight chance for a few severe thunderstorms across the far southeast Texas Panhandle and northeast Rolling Plains Tuesday afternoon and evening. The primary threats will be large hail and damaging wind gusts.

Pleasant conditions Monday ahead of the return of storm chances Tuesday through Thursday. Very warm temperatures are expected through much of the week with highs in the 80s and 90s.
