Heavy snow rates and strong winds will lead to near-zero visibility and dangerous travel conditions. Headed to the beach to enjoy the nice weather? Not to be a wet blanket, but please be mindful of some of the hazards associated with venturing near the water as there will be an elevated risk for sneaker waves and rip currents. This will be especially true for our Pacific Coast beaches. Stay off of jetties, piers, rocks, and other waterside infrastructure.
