Tracking Two Storms Impacting the Central and Eastern U.S. Through This Weekend

Two storm systems will track through the central and eastern U.S. through this weekend with areas of gusty winds, rain, and heavy snow. Severe thunderstorms are forecast Friday from the central Gulf Coast into parts of the lower Mississippi, Tennessee and Ohio Valleys. Heavy to excessive rainfall is forecast from the lower Mississippi River Valley to the Tennessee Valley which may bring flooding. Read More >

A tab with the Fire Weather Forecast Discussion and the forecast for the Fire Weather Zone clicked upon will be in the second tab.
A color coded Fire Weather Matrix will show up in the next tab. Some offices have created custom thresholds for the matrix. Otherwise, "default" parameters will be used. Note: This information covers the area on the map within the "green square".
The final tab has a 3 hourly point forecast matrix for the next 6 days. Note: This information covers the area on the map within the "green square".
