NWS Meteorologists surveyed damage in northeast Marengo County between Dayton and Faunsdale and determined it was the result of a tornado.

This tornado produced sporadic damage along its path. The tornado touched down just west of the intersection of AL Highway 25 and County Road 59, northeast of Dayton. Several trees were snapped off and a couple homes suffered minor damage. One home sustained significant roof damage. The tornado moved northeast and only caused sporadic tree damage along County Road 12 and Barry Brackin Road. The tornado lifted just north of County Road 53, just before the Perry County line. A home suffered minor damage and there was some minor tree damage near the end point.
