Denver's Latest First Snow Dates and Consecutive Non-Measurable Snow Days

 

Denver has smashed the record for the latest first measurable snow this winter season. The previous record for latest measurable snow was November 21st, which occurred in 1934.  Measurable snow is defined as 0.1" or greater.  Snowfall records began in 1882.  Here is the current list:

Meanwhile, there have been 230 consecutive days (as of 12/07/2021) without measurable snowfall at Denver which is the 2nd longest streak in recorded history.  It does look like measurable snow will fall late Thursday night into Friday morning so the streak may finally end on December 10th.
