Dangerous, prolonged heat is ongoing in the Mid-South to Mid-Mississippi Valley and heat expands into the Northeast for a brief period today. Widely scattered instances of flash flooding due to heavy rains are forecast from northeast Kansas to much of Indiana. portions of Morgan county.  There were signs of up to 2 additional
tornadoes.  Further analysis is needed to determine exact start and end locations.  
Widespread hail and wind damage was noted across eastern areas of Morgan county as well.
