Heavy Rain and Flooding Threat in the Central U.S.; Winter Weather in Northern Alaska

Strong thunderstorms and heavy rain may produce flash flooding across the south-central Plains and lower Mississippi Valley today. The North Slope in Alaska will see the potential for wintry weather through today with ice accumulations possible on roadways.
