On or after 8 PM EDT on April 5, 2019, twenty Coastal and Marine Automated Network (C-MAN) stations across the nation will stop transmitting all data due to a GPS software issue. Three C-MAN stations in New England waters will be affected by this software issue:
The local NWS offices have no control on fixing or maintaining these three sites. These sites are maintained by National Data Buoy Center (NDBC).

Projected Restoration of Services:
NDBC is working to update the GPS software as soon as possible. This requires an onsite visit which are projected to be done between August to November 2019 for all three sites in New England waters.
