Disturbance Along South Carolina Coast; Severe Storms in Central U.S.; Heat Concerns in Northern U.S.

The National Hurricane Center is monitoring an area of low pressure along the coast of South Carolina for tropical or subtropical development. Regardless of development, heavy rain and flooding are possible along coastal sections of the Carolinas, Mid-Atlantic and Northeast through Friday.
