The National Weather Service has transitioned to a new Rivers and Lakes Observation and Forecast Website!

NWPS implemented on March 27, 2024...AHPS retired on May 28, 2024

For more than two decades, the National Weather Service (NWS) delivered river observations and forecast products and services via the Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Service (AHPS). This legacy system needed to be modernized to support newer innovation with technology and provide a more mobile-friendly user experience. On March 27, 2024, the NWS replaced AHPS with a new website, the National Water Prediction Service (NWPS). AHPS was retired on May 28, 2024 and is no longer available.

Old: Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Service (AHPS)	New: National Water Prediction Service (NWPS)
