National Weather Service United States Department of Commerce

Several periods of thunderstorms are expected today.

If the atmosphere can become unstable enough this afternoon, there is a risk of a few severe storms with damaging winds, hail, and isolated tornadoes. The best chance would be later this afternoon and evening, especially south of Highway 29.

Make sure you keep track of the forecast and have a way to get the latest weather information, including any watches or warnings.

If you are planning outdoor activities in the risk area, have alternate plans in place, including knowing where the nearest sturdy shelter is, in the event severe weather threatens your area.
