...TORNADO (F1) CONFIRMED IN WHEELSBURG IN SCIOTO COUNTY...

AT 750 PM LAST EVENING AN F1 TORNADO TOUCHDOWN IN WHEELERSBURG, OHIO...
WHICH IS LOCATED EAST OF PORTSMOUTH IN SCIOTO COUNTY.  THE TORNADO
KNOCKED TWO RAIL CARS OFF THE TRACKS...DAMAGED A FEW HOMES AND
KNOCKED DOWN NUMEROUS TREES.  THE TORNADIC DAMAGE WAS SPOTTY IN
NATURE AND WAS EMBEDDED IN COUNTY WIDE STRAIGHT-LINE DAMAGE.

  SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO 3 MILES
  NORTHWEST OF WEST PORTSMOUTH...MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 15 MPH.

* SOME LOCATIONS NEAR THE PATH OF THIS STORM INCLUDE...
  WHEELERSBURG...
  WEST PORTSMOUTH...
  SCIOTODALE...
  PORTSMOUTH...
  LUCASVILLE...

THE SAFEST PLACE TO BE DURING A TORNADO IS IN A BASEMENT. GET UNDER A
WORKBENCH OR OTHER PIECE OF STURDY FURNITURE. IF NO BASEMENT IS
