Excessive rainfall may produce locally considerable flash flooding over parts of the northwestern Gulf Coast, lower Mississippi River Valley, and Deep South through Thursday. 939 PM EDT SAT JUN 2 2001

...A WEAK TORNADO PRODUCED DAMAGE IN CIRCLEVILLE...

A WEAK TORNADO MOVED THROUGH SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF CIRCLEVILLE AROUND
455 PM EDT SATURDAY AFTERNOON. THE PICKAWAY COUNTY EMA DIRECTOR
REPORTED AN INTERMITTENT DAMAGE PATH OF ABOUT A HALF MILE WITH A
WIDTH OF 75 TO 100 YARDS.

A RESTAURANT ROOF SUSTAINED SOME MINOR DAMAGE AND A HOME TRAILER WAS
PUSHED OFF OF ITS FOUNDATION. THE REST OF THE DAMAGE MAINLY CONSISTED
OF DOWNED TREE LIMBS AND POWER LINES.

THE TORNADO WAS RATED AN F0 ON THE FUJITA SCALE WHICH IS ASSOCIATED
WITH WINDS OF 40 TO 72 MPH.
