...FO TORNADO CONFIRMED IN NORTHERN MADISON COUNTY EAST OF
ROSEDALE...

A DAMAGE SURVEY WAS CONDUCTED IN MADISON COUNTY THIS AFTERNOON AND
AN FO TORNADO WAS CONFIRMED. THE TORNADO OCCURRED AT ABOUT 845
PM EDT TUESDAY EVENING...JULY 11TH...AT A LOCATION ABOUT 1 AND 1/2
MILES EAST OF ROSEDALE. THE PATH LENGTH WAS ABOUT 1 MILE AND THE
WIDTH WAS ABOUT 20 YARDS. A GARAGE OR BARN TYPE OF STRUCTURE WAS
HEAVILY DAMAGED...NUMEROUS TREES WERE DOWNED OR UPROOTED...AND SOME
MINOR STRUCTURAL DAMAGE TO AT LEAST ONE HOME OCCURRED. THE DAMAGE
WAS CONSISTENT WITH A HIGH END F0. F0 WIND SPEEDS ARE FROM 40 TO 72
MPH.
