Winter Storm Bringing Widespread Hazardous Weather to the Eastern U.S.

A rapidly-intensifying winter storm continues to bring heavy snow, high winds, and blizzard conditions over the Upper Midwest and Great Lakes through today. ...NWS METEOROLOGISTS SURVEY DETERMINES DAMAGE NEAR FAYETTEVILLE
OHIO IN BROWN COUNTY FROM STRAIGHT LINE WINDS...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE IN WILMINGTON OH HAS CONDUCTED A
STORM SURVEY FOR THE AREA 4 MILES SOUTH OF FAYETTEVILLE OHIO IN
BROWN COUNTY. THE SURVEY IS IN RELATION TO THE SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS THAT MOVED THROUGH THE AREA EARLY THIS MORNING.

THE DAMAGE HAS BEEN DETERMINED TO BE FROM STRAIGHT LINE WINDS NEAR
100 MPH. THE DAMAGE INCLUDED A BARN BLOWN ONTO ROUTE 68...TREE
DOWNED AND METAL DEBRIS SCATTERED ACROSS THE AREA.
