Tropical Moisture Will Bring Heavy to Excessive Rainfall with Possible Flooding This Week

Tropical moisture from the remnants of Odalys and Hurricane Polo will surge over the southwest into the central U.S. this week with several days of heavy to excessive rainfall which may bring limited to considerable flooding. Light Snow

A compact low pressure system tracked through the Ohio Valley from the afternoon on the 23rd into the early morning hours on the 24th. Widespread rain changed to a brief period of light snow on the backside of the low pressure system as it began to pull away from the region. This resulted in a swath of light snow which accumulated to an inch or inch and a half across western portions of the local area.
