A brief tornado touchdown has been confirmed near Covington in Miami County Ohio. This tornado occurred during the evening of June 9. This confirmation is based on recent reports of tree damage along West Sugar Grove Road near the Stillwater River, in addition to radar data from the Wilmington, OH Doppler Weather Radar. Based on pictures of the tree damage, this brief tornado is rated as EF-0 on the Enhanced Fujita Scale, with maximum winds of 70 mph.
