Survey Summary:
This statement provides information on a newly confirmed tornado 
that occurred east of Napoleon Indiana and southwest Sunman 
Indiana on the evening of March 30th. 

The first signs of concentrated damage were found along State Road
48 between North County Road 100 East and North County Road 200 
East. Several trees and outbuildings were damaged south of State 
Road 48 with a few trees damaged north of State Road 48. As the 
tornado continued eastward, it crossed State Road 48, destroying 
an outbuilding. 

Upooted trees and minor home damage were then observed along 
North County Road 200 East north of State Road 48. The destroyed 
barn and multiple snapped trees were rated to an estimated maximum
wind of 90 mph, resulting in the EF1 rating. The tornado 
continued eastward roughly along East State Road 48, causing 
damage to trees and additional outbuildings near North County Road
500, 550, and 600 East. The tornado likely dissipated south of 
State Road 48 and east of North County Road 600 East.
