Rating: EF0 Estimated Peak Wind: 85 mph Path Length /statute/: 1.80 miles Path Width /maximum/: 150 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 04/03/2025 Start Time: 01:52 AM EDT Start Location: 4 SSW Dover / Mason County / KY Start Lat/Lon: 38.7053 / -83.9183 End Date: 04/03/2025 End Time: 01:55 AM EDT End Location: 3 S Dover / Mason County / KY End Lat/Lon: 38.7116 / -83.8861 Survey Summary: The National Weather Service has confirmed a new EF0 tornado that affected Mason County, Kentucky during the early morning hours of April 3, 2025. The tornado likely developed in the town of Minerva, Kentucky, causing minor damage on Minerva Tuckahoe Road. Unfortunately, the tornado followed a nearly identical path to the tornado event from April 2nd, 2024, traveling along T Wenz Road north of Minerva Tackahoe Road. While weaker than the previous tornado, several outbuildings were destroyed along with damage to homes and farm equipment. Based on available information, the tornado is suspected to have dissipated over Lee Creek, west of Tuckahoe Road.
