The National Weather Service has confirmed a tornado south of Amelia 
in Clermont County, Ohio.

Survey Summary:

The first evidence of tornadic damage was observed at the Pierce
Reserve & Trails on Pond Run Road, where numerous large tree
limbs were knocked down. The tornado strengthened as it moved
southeast onto Mott Road, where roof damage was observed at a two
story home along with numerous trees being snapped in an adjacent
wooded area. Winds in this area were likely near 90 mph, which
corresponds to EF-1 on the Enhanced Fujita Scale. Tree damage was
common and in a very convergent path along Fagins Run Road and
Wilson Dunham Hill Road. 

While damage became more sporadic farther southeast, additional tree 
damage within the convergent tornadic path was reported at a residence
on OH-132 and Wildfire Way. Large tree limbs were also knocked 
down along New Richmond Nicholsville Road, and this is where this 
tornado appears to have ended. 

The National Weather Service would like to thank the
Clermont County Ohio Emergency Management Agency and Pierce
Township Fire Department for their assistance with this storm
damage survey.
