Survey Summary:
The National Weather Service in Wilmington Ohio has confirmed an
EF0 tornado near Monterey in Clermont County, Ohio.

Although sporadic tree and other wind damage was observed along 
large swaths of the surveyed area, it is believed the tornado 
first caused damage near the intersection of Monterey Road and 
Hutchinson Road. Several uprooted and snapped trees were observed 
along Monterey Road progressing southeast toward US Rte 50. Some 
minor roof shingle damage was also observed on a residence within 
this corridor.

Farther to the south, it is believed the tornado tracked across 
US Rte 50 where additional snapped trees were observed near the 
intersection of US Rte 50 and Monterey Maple Grove Road.

To the southeast, a roof was also completely removed from a 
large barn just south of Caudil East Road near the intersection 
of Clemons Road. Additional large tree damage was observed in this
area as well.

Some tree damage was observed near the intersection of Jackson 
Pike and State Route 133. Farther to the southeast, dozens of 
trees were uprooted or snapped along a portion of McKeever Pike 
near Schoolhouse Road.

It is believed the tornado weakened and lifted farther to the 
southeast as the storm transitioned to producing large swaths of 
straight-line wind damage near the Clermont and Brown county line 
east of Williamsburg.

survey and damage assessment.
