Survey Summary:
The National Weather Service in Wilmington Ohio has confirmed an
EF0 tornado near Owensville in Clermont County, Ohio.

Although sporadic tree and other wind damage was observed across 
wide swaths of the surveyed area, the most concentrated area of 
damage began near US Rte 50 where a very large tree was downed 
onto a portion of a home near the intersection with Benton Road. 
This is approximately where the tornado likely first caused 
damage, with damage in these areas consistent with an EF0 tornado 
with winds of 80-85 MPH. Additional significant tree damage was 
observed farther to the south on the west side of Parkside Drive, 
where several patches of snapped trees were observed.

It is possible the tornado briefly lifted farther to the south 
toward State Rte 132 as there was no discernible damage on either 
the north or south side of the road. However, farther to the south
toward Bauer Road, additional tree damage was observed on each 
side of the road and along a portion of Peace Haven Lane.

The tornado may have again briefly lifted toward Herold Road as 
no discernible damage was observed within the narrow rotation 
swath within this corridor. This being said, it is believed the 
tornado was again causing significant tree damage toward the south
side of State Route 276 where numerous snapped and uprooted trees
were observed on either side of Half Acre Road. The tree damage 
in this vicinity was concentrated and significant, suggesting 
80-85 MPH winds once again.

Additional tree and minor structural damage was observed on the 
southern and western fringe of the center of the narrow tornado 
track, including along Old State Route 32, and this damage was 
consistent with straight-line winds. No discernible significant 
tree or structural damage was observed south of Old State Route 32
and Half Acre Road, so it is believed the tornado had lifted as 
the storm progressed west and southwest of Williamsburg.
