Survey Summary:
The National Weather Service in Wilmington Ohio has confirmed an
intense swath of straight-line winds across portions of eastern
Clermont County and western Brown County in Ohio. This occurred
during the afternoon of August 11, 2026.

Areas impacted by these winds include areas near and east of 
Williamsburg in Clermont County, and areas near Andersonville, New
Harmony, and southwest of Mount Orab in Brown County. Some of the
roads that were impacted include Cobb Road, Tri-County Highway, 
New Harmony Salem Road, Upper Cumberland Road, New Harmony Shiloh 
Road, Kress Road, Oakland Locust Ridge Road, and Starling Road.

This was a wide swath of intense straight-line winds, estimated 
to be up to 80 MPH.

The National Weather Service would like to thank the Clermont 
County and Brown County Emergency Management Agencies for their 
assistance and damage reports.
