The National Weather Service forecast office in Wilmington Ohio will be hosting an online/virtual discussion about the Memorial Day 2019 Tornado Outbreak!

Join three meteorologists from NWS Wilmington OH for an in-depth look back at the Ohio Valley Tornado Outbreak from late in the evening on Memorial Day of 2019. The 90-minute presentation will dive into the atmospheric conditions that led to such a unique setup, discussion on some of the forecast challenges with the event, as well as analysis of radar trends and warning decisions processes that evolved with the numerous supercell thunderstorms that produced 21 total tornadoes in a 4-hour span in Ohio. This live presentation is a component of our virtual "Let's Talk" series.
