High Pressure will build this week, boosting temperatures starting Tuesday. Max temperatures peak on Wednesday and Thursday, ranging from 95 to 105 across the valleys, deserts, and lower mountains, and reach the 70s and 80s at the coasts where marine layer stratus doesn't form. Warm temperatures will continue through the following weekend across the interior locations, while strengthening onshore flow will help cool the valleys. High pressure may build back in on Monday and Tuesday July 14th and 15th, resulting in another peak in heat. There will also be elevated to brief critical fire weather concerns across valleys, mountains, deserts, and southwest Santa Barbara through Friday, potentially extending into early the following week.
