Dangerous Heat in the Central and Eastern U.S.; Severe Thunderstorms in the Central U.S. and Northeast; Critical Fire Weather in the Four Corners

Dangerous, record-breaking heat will intensify across most of the central and eastern U.S this week. Heat indices will likely exceed 100 degrees. Severe thunderstorms are forecast across parts of the Upper Midwest into the Great Lakes, the Northeast, and the central High Plains. After that, 3 or 4 tabs will open up below the map:

If there are Red Flag Warnings or Fire Weather Watches on the clicked area, the text for those will show up in the first tab. Otherwise this tab will not show up.
A tab with the Fire Weather Forecast Discussion and the forecast for the Fire Weather Zone clicked upon will be in the second tab.
A color coded Fire Weather Matrix will show up in the next tab. Some offices have created custom thresholds for the matrix. Otherwise, "default" parameters will be used. Note: This information covers the area on the map within the "green square".
The final tab has a 3 hourly point forecast matrix for the next 6 days. Note: This information covers the area on the map within the "green square".
