Another storm will bring rain to the area late Sunday night into Tuesday, with 1-2 inches expected, locally 3 inches for the Santa Ynez Range. This system will be colder, with 1-3 inches of snow forecast above 6,000 feet Monday night. Snow could be seen as low as 4,500 feet on Tuesday, with little to no accumulation expected. Due to the abundant rainfall in the past 48 hours, this additional rain will bring threats of minor roadway/stream flooding, rockslides and mudslides, and minor/shallow debris flows in recent burn scars. Follow guidance from local law enforcement, check routes before traveling, stay aware of your surroundings and avoid mountain passes and canyon roads during the heavier rain if possible.
