Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum.   Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure around 29.6 inches will continue to push east from
the eastern Great Lakes tonight. Gusty north and northwest winds
will gradually diminish with subsiding waves overnight. High
pressure around 30.4 inches will build into the Central Plains
tonight and on Thursday. Lighter winds will continue into
Thursday night before the high works it way east Friday. Expect
increasing southerly winds to pick up across the Lake on Friday
into Friday night as another low pressure system begins to work
its way across south central Canada. Winds may approach gale
force at times Friday, especially across the northern third of
Lake Michigan. Lighter west to southwesterly winds are expected
for the weekend.
