Thunderstorms and heavy rainfall may produce isolated flash flooding along the southeast Atlantic coast the next several days. Showers and thunderstorms persist across portions of the Great Basin, Pacific Northwest, and northern Rockies. Unseasonably hot temperatures continue for much of the Plains and Midwest. The weather observation at Lone Rock, WI is missing due to a communication line outage. The NWS-owned observation equipment is functioning, but the observation information is unable to be transmitted to external sources, including NOAA Weather Radio and web pages.
