What's New?

Starting April 12, 2023 river forecasts will be created for the Baraboo River at Reedsburg. These forecasts will help with planning and situational awareness of river levels due to rain and melting snow.

These forecasts will be created when the river is forecast to reach or exceed 12 feet. This is called action stage. River flood watches and/or warnings will be issued when water levels are expected to approach or exceed the flood stage of 14 feet. This site has been in operation for a few years but previously did not include river forecasts. This gauge is a collaboration between the USGS and the City of Reedsburg.
