Unsettled Weather in the Southeast and West; Unseasonably Hot in the North-Central U.S.; Coastal Impacts Along the East Coast

Thunderstorms and heavy rainfall may produce isolated flash flooding along the southeast Atlantic coast the next several days. Overview

A line of thunderstorms moved across southern WI during the early morning hours of April 20. The Sheboygan area got some 1 inch hail. A swath of 50-60 mph winds moved across southern Waukesha county, eastern Walworth County, southern Milwaukee County and into Racine County. Many trees were snapped and uprooted. The hardest hit area was eastern Racine County where winds were about 60-70 mph.
